How to Promote your Blog in Social Media

With social media content, you have the power to turn your brand into a household name and turn your followers into fans. This impact only comes from having a solid social media content strategy. Your success on social media entirely depends on the success of the content you post. It’s not enough to show up on every platform and sporadically update your audience when you have the time. However, producing compelling, high-performing content presents several challenges for small businesses. It’s competitive, time-consuming, and should ideally add value to your customer experience.

The way to stand out on social media is to identify specific goals, create valuable posts that align with those goals, and distribute content on the right platforms. Then you can measure your results and fine-tune your strategy over time. Your strategy will differ depending on your industry and audience.

The following are some ways I prepare for my social media post and blog content to be socially shareable and engaging.

1. Headline / Titles

Your social media audience wants the content they share to make them appear relaxed, beneficial, and sophisticated. Your content must be intriguing and valuable, containing unique information rarely found anywhere else. Even if the content is found in other places on the web, the way you present your content must be intriguing enough for your social media savvy readers. Besides your blog post’s content, readers will be attracted by intriguing titles and images. Intriguing Headline tiles that your audience may be curious and excited to read.

The tone and style of your posts’ titles may get you more exposure.

2. Images

Social media is all about creating visuals that are big and colorful if your blog does not have a unique/recognizable opening image (or any image at all, people will be less inclined to share it.
I used the Canva tool to create blog graphics and edit my images and videos. Canva is very useful for my blog graphics.

3. Design

It is essential to set good design in your blog. To increase the traffic and improve your audience with a single decision of choosing the best design your site should depict. Keep your blog posts and content as fresh as possible. A good design can change the entire operation of a business, including your blogging, and it helps to motivate the client intrinsically, hence, maintaining their focus and energy to get more insights from your writings if you have never taken the time to choose the best design for your blog.

4. Content

Having quality content is essential in something called content marketing. Content marketing is when businesses use blogs, ebooks, and emails to inform and entertain their target audience.
We live in the age of instant answers, and your blog has to be able to keep up. This means that every page on your website has to have a purpose. Your customers should be able to figure out what each page on your blog is for within the first few seconds of looking at it. Otherwise, they’re going to click away.
The content on those pages has to meet specific standards as well. You have to be able to write original content in a cohesive, intelligent way. This means you must put a lot of research and time into creating this content.

5. Integrate Social Media With Your Blog

Integrating social media into your blog means bridging the gap between popular social media sites and your content. People who visit your blog need an easy way to connect with your blog and share your blog content via social media elements that are integrated into your site.
These integrating elements could be in the form of social media buttons that help your readers engage with your blog (Facebook likes, Twitter follows), share buttons that help readers share your content, and social media logins that allow readers to comment on your blog, and so on.
