Make Gratitude a Habit & Stress Buster

At the beginning of the year, I feel anxious about the future, be grateful for the now. Look at the present moment. Instead, focusing on gratitude is a great way to create a blank slate. Clear the mind of all those worries, even if just for a moment. The trick is that your natural reflexes to go back to gratitude when you are feeling anxious will develop over time, and you will get stronger and more peaceful at once.

Try it if you feel stressed when you creep up. Replace the thoughts of worry with just a couple of things you are grateful for and really feel it. Creating the habit of gratitude will serve you in all areas of your life. Having an attitude of appreciation tells the people we love that we appreciate them and admire and respect them. This feeling gets communicated in all we do with and for each other. It has more to do with happiness than most people think.
It is harder to find gratitude if you are hurt and angry. You have to get past what is going on for you at the moment and seek some peace by remembering what you have to be grateful for.

Gratitude as Stress Buster

I think we all need to take a chill pill. Remember how lucky we are and put those daily dramas and worries in perspective. Sure, we all deal with challenges, but that’s what being a human on this incredible journey means. That said, what we are first and foremost is spiritual beings having a human experience, and when we remind ourselves of this, we can detach from the stress a little more and remember what matters most.
We sometimes focus on perceived lack or what we think is missing. No matter what is going on in your life, you have so much to be grateful for. You have peace, love, and abundance, and you can experience even more of it when you make gratitude a habit.

  • We think that more will make us happier, that it will fill some void.
  • We are blessed and lucky beyond belief. Tap into gratitude every day and see how those blessings expand.

Wishing you a wonderful day where you take little moments to focus on all your abundance and see how it can instantly shift any feelings of lack or anxiety you might be experiencing.
